In addition to fee payment, the following information is requested on our course approval form in order to review the CE course:
- Instructor C.V.
- Course agenda
- Course objectives
- Course description
- The number of contact hours to be awarded
- Targeted audience
This office reserves the right to request additional materials, on a case-by-case basis, after reviewing your submitted course approval form. All requests must be submitted a minimum of 30 days before the beginning date of the course. Please allow two (2) weeks for this office to review a CE course approval request. Written notification will be supplied to the individual or organization requesting the course approval after it is completed by this office.
Automatic Renewal: It is suggested that Section VII of the appropriate regulations be reviewed prior to submitting the course approval request. The course may already be approved by one of the automatically approved providers listed in the regulations. A cursory review of the regulations prior to filing a request may eliminate duplication of efforts and fees.

A non-refundable fee of $25 per profession per course is required to be submitted with any CE course review request for approval filed with this office. The $25 (or more) check or money order should be made payable to the Mississippi State Department of Health. The fee applies to individual licensees or program providers.
