Chickasaw, Clay, Lee, Lowndes, Monroe and Prentiss counties.)
Who We Help

When you join the free Healthy Start program, you'll receive personalized support and clinical care aimed at the needs of the entire family.
Women Before Pregnancy
Who is eligible: Women ages 14-44 and their partners
- Preventive health care and basic health needs
- Education on pregnancy timing and having a healthy pregnancy
- Mental health support (youth and young adults)
Pregnant Women
Who is eligible: Pregnant women with low health risks
- Screening for common health problems that can affect pregnancy
- Basic pregnancy health care
- Education on pregnancy risks and SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome)
- Mental health support
New Mothers
Who is eligible: New mothers up to 18 months after giving birth
- Overall health care
- Assistance with infant supplies
- Breastfeeding education and support
- Parenting education and planning
- Group and individual mental health counseling
Infants
Who is eligible: Infants up to 18 months of age
- Well-baby care
- Parental support
- Infant health and safety education for parents
Fathers
Who is eligible: Fathers of infants up to 18 months of age
- Resources for active engagement in your child's life
- Community connections for fatherhood support
