Coming July 7
Health Talk MS airs its first episode Monday, July 7, with State Health Officer Dr. Dan Edney as the first guest. Dr. Edney will talk about the preventable conditions killing Mississippians, how we can extend lives and improve the state’s economy, and how public health touches every Mississippian every day.
The goals of Health Talk MS are to:
- Educate listeners about how public health works and the services MSDH provides.
- Help listeners understand the health issues happening now in Mississippi and what they can do about them.
- Empower everyone with quality information to take charge of their health.
