Nikki Johnson, Dr.PH, MPH
Director, Office of Health Equity
Background
Dr. Johnson has been with MSDH since 2007, beginning in the Preventive Health program, and serving as the Director of the Injury Prevention division. In 2019, she expanded her role to include special projects in the Health Equity division, and was named Director of the Health Equity in 2023.
Dr. Johnson holds a Master's of Public Health degree, and a Doctor of Public Health degree from Jackson State University.
