WIC participants can visit a WIC-authorized vendor (grocery store or pharmacy) of their choice, shop for WIC-approved supplemental foods, and complete the transaction at the cash register using an eWIC card.

2026 Mississippi WIC Vendor Reauthorization Now Open
The Mississippi WIC Program has opened the 2026 Vendor Reauthorization Application period for currently authorized WIC vendors. All vendors seeking to continue participation in the Mississippi WIC Program must complete the reauthorization process no later than June 30, 2026.
Important Registration Requirement: Before accessing the reauthorization application, vendors must first complete the OpenGov registration process. Registration approval is not immediate and may take 24–48 hours to process. Vendors are encouraged to register as soon as possible to avoid delays in submitting their application.
Online Submission Only: The Mississippi WIC Program will only accept reauthorization applications submitted through the OpenGov online application system. Paper applications, mailed documents, emailed applications, and faxed applications will not be accepted.
Vendors should have the following documents available when completing the application:
- Business License
- Privilege Tax License
- Retail Food Establishment License
- Form W-9
- Vendor Technology Survey
- Additional Store Attachment (if applicable)
- Grocery Price Survey
- Store Brand Declaration Form
- Pharmacy Price Survey (when applicable)
- Pharmacy License/Permit (when applicable)
Do not wait until the deadline to begin the process. Complete your OpenGov registration and submit your reauthorization application before June 30, 2026, to ensure continued participation in the Mississippi WIC Program.
