The Mississippi State Department of Health is aware of the federal grant funding pause announced Tuesday morning. While we await further guidance on how this will impact our operations, we are actively working to understand the full implications and are reviewing our funding/programs on a case-by-case basis.
In the meantime, MSDH remains fully committed to delivering the highest level of public health services to the people of Mississippi, and we will continue to keep the public informed as more details become available.
