License and Permit Required
The Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (BEMS) licenses ambulance services by location and issues permits for each vehicle operated at the location licensed. This includes any vehicle engaged in the business of transporting patients on roadways or airways within the boundaries of Mississippi.
