Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

The mission of the Office of Emergency Medical Services and Acute Care Systems (OEMSACS) at the Mississippi State Department of Health is to develop and maintain a statewide program that functions to organize, regulate, and improve Emergency Medical Services, statewide. OEMSACS promotes the highest standards of out-of-hospital care for Mississippians.
