We have a boil water notice for customers who live from the intersection of Shelia Lane/South Mill Creek to the intersection of Yawn Cr/Jake Johnson Rd, and all adjacent roads. This boil water notice excludes Shelia Lane and Davis Road. This boil water notice includes all of Yawn Circle.


North Lamar Water Association has issued a Boil-Water Alert for customers who receive their drinking water from their water supply located in Lamar County.

This is a precautionary notice. Residents will be notified immediately when the advisory is lifted. For more information customers may contact 601-264-1157.

When a distribution system loses pressure, contaminants can siphon back into the water. Public health officials consider any system that loses pressure contaminated until tests prove otherwise. Health officials strongly recommend that all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it is consumed.
