Customers affected: This notice has been updated and affects approximately 800 connections on our drinking water system due to a valve replacement. The area affected is all roads south of Hwy 583 and Old Holmeville Rd in Tylertown, MS as of 6/26/2024.


Magee's Creek Water Association has issued a Boil-Water Alert for customers who receive their drinking water from their water supply located in Walthall County.

This is a precautionary notice. Residents will be notified immediately when the advisory is lifted. For more information customers may contact 601-876-4838 or visit https://mcwa.myruralwater.com.

When a distribution system loses pressure, contaminants can siphon back into the water. Public health officials consider any system that loses pressure contaminated until tests prove otherwise. Health officials strongly recommend that all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it is consumed.
