Initiative 65, which established a constitutional amendment for the use of medical marijuana in Mississippi, has been invalidated by the Mississippi Supreme Court.

The Mississippi State Department of Health has stopped development of the Mississippi Medical Marijuana Program. However, the Agency has learned much in the process of putting together a successful medical marijuana program, and we stand ready to help the legislature if it creates a statutory program.
