Mississippi marriage records are maintained by state and county officials. You can order a copy of a marriage record from MSDH, and you can have us search for the county in which the marriage license was issued.

Come in person to our Ridgeland Office at 222 Marketridge Dr between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and pay by cash, check, or money order. The record will be mailed within 7 - 10 business days of ordering.
The Vital Records Ridgeland location is closed to the public during the COVID-19 outbreak. We can still process your phone, mail-in or online request for birth certificates and other records.
Note: Though required by law to be registered with MSDH, not all marriage records may be on file with the Office of Vital Records.
