Background

Liz Sharlot was named Communications Director in 2003 after serving as Director of Communications at the Foundation for the Mid South, and as Executive Director for the Office of Public Affairs at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Her background is in broadcast journalism, and she has held television reporting positions in a number of major cities in the South and Midwest. She has a B.S. in speech from Northwestern University.
