Even if your rapid (antigen) test for COVID-19 is negative, there are important steps to take after testing.
If Your Rapid Result is Positive
Isolate at home for at least 5 days, and follow our guidance below.
If Your Rapid Result is Negative
If you are waiting for PCR results isolate at home until your PCR results arrive unless you have no symptoms, and have not been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19.
If You Have Symptoms of COVID-19
If you are up to date on vaccinations (fully vaccinated with a booster if you are eligible), return to normal activities, and wear a mask around others until your symptoms improve.
If you are not up to date on vaccinations, quarantine for at least 5 days.
If You Do Not Have Symptoms of COVID-19
If you had close contact with someone who has COVID-19, and are not up to date on vaccinations, quarantine for at least 5 days, even if you do not have symptoms.
If you have had no close contact with someone who has COVID-19, and have no symptoms, you may return to normal activities. Be sure to get up to date on your COVID-19 vaccinations.
