Tuberculosis Surveillance and Testing Certification, Jackson, MS (MSDH-CENTRAL). Thursday, March 13.

-Location: MSDH-Jackson, MS 39216 "Central Office", 570 East Woodrow Wilson, Jackson, MS 39215

-This workshop is open to agencies needing certification/re-certification in TB skin testing. Open to public and private medical facility staff.

-Tuberculin skin test curriculum includes certification and 6.5 contact hours of nursing continuing education.
- The course is designed for health care professionals, both public and private, who administer and read tuberculin skin test results. Health care professionals are required to recertify every five years.
- Meets the regulation of MSDH Licensure requiring certification of persons administering/reading the Mantoux to residents, inmates, employees and residents of long term care facilities

Class fee is $60. PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED! FAXED REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED!
NO WALK IN REGISTRATIONS! Minimum number of 25 participants required for class to meet.

Registration for a workshop is not final until BOTH the completed registration form and payment is received. The registration fee is NOT REFUNDABLE and if it is necessary to change the registration, you must provide WRITTEN NOTIFICATION prior to the scheduled workshop to TRANSFER registration to another workshop or to another person. Failure to do so forfeits the registration fee. Transfers to a later date or another individual will not be completed until the $15.00 transfer fee is received. Registration confirmation or workshop cancellation will be sent by email 14 days before scheduled workshop. Please check inbox and junk/spam folders before stating a confirmation has not been received.
