| 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CDC December Wednesday Webinar Highlights Public Health Communication CDC’s December Wednesday webinar will focus on best practices and resources for delivering effective public health communication messages. The webinar, “Right Message, Right Time: Tips and Tools for Sending Clear, Timely Emergency Messages,” is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST on Wednesday, December 11. Angela Brown, a health communication specialist in CDC’s Division of Emergency Operations (DEO), will share crisis and emergency risk communication (CERC) principles and practices as well as tips and tools for sending the right emergency message at the right time. Traci Augustosky, a writer-editor team lead in CDC’s National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), will demonstrate resources available on the Clear Writing Hub, a site that provides tools to create health information the public can understand and trust.
