STUDENTS ONLY:Tuberculosis Surveillance and Testing Certification, Cleveland. Tuesday, September 18.

This workshop is open to STUDENTS OF THE COLLEGE ONLY. Tuberculin skin test curriculum includes certification and 6.33 contact hours of nursing continuing education.
- The course is designed for health care professionals, both public and private, who administer and read tuberculin skin test results. Health care professionals are required to recertify every five years.
- Meets the regulation of MSDH Licensure requiring certification of persons administering/reading the Mantoux to residents, inmates, employees and residents of long term care facilities. Fulfills certification requirements of Medicaid for reimbursement of skin testing.

Class fee is $50; discount of $10 if received at least 2 weeks in advance. PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED!
NO WALK IN REGISTRATIONS! The minimum number of participants required for class to meet is 25.

Registration for a workshop is not final until BOTH the completed registration form and payment are received. The registration fee is NOT REFUNDABLE and if it is necessary to change the registration, you must provide WRITTEN NOTIFICATION prior to the scheduled workshop to TRANSFER registration to another workshop or to another person. Failure to do so forfeits the registration fee. Transfers to a later date or another individual will not be completed until the $15.00 transfer fee is received. Registration confirmation or workshop cancellation will be sent by email 14 days before scheduled workshop. Please check inbox and junk/spam folders before stating a confirmation has not been received. Certification requires successful practical demonstration of administering and reading a skin test and scoring a minimum of 80% on a knowledge assessment at the end of the course.
