This workshop is open to VA Staff ONLY. Tuberculin skin test curriculum includes certification and 6.33 contact hours of nursing continuing education.
- The course is designed for health care professionals, both public and private, who administer and read tuberculin skin test results. Health care professionals are required to recertify every five years.
- Meets the regulation of MSDH Licensure requiring certification of persons administering/reading the Mantoux to residents, inmates, employees and residents of long term care facilities. Fulfills certification requirements of Medicaid for reimbursement of skin testing.
