JACKSON, Miss.– The Mississippi State Department of Health and the Office of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is inviting the public to celebrate its 50th Anniversary on Tuesday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mississippi Trade Mart in Jackson.
This is a great opportunity for kids to learn about EMS and is designed specifically to be kid-friendly in a fun environment. The event will feature EMS equipment, educational booths, vendors, and live safety demonstrations.
EMS provides the highest standards of pre-hospital care for patients needing emergency care and ensures that they are delivered to the right hospital at the right time.
The Trade Mart is located at 1200 Mississippi Street in Jackson on the Mississippi Fairgrounds.
