On 10/11/2014 at approx. 7:44 pm I bit down on a piece of wire or metal approx. 1 1/4" long that was imbedded in a hamburger patty at this restaurant inside Horseshoe Casino. I pulled it out and my wife took a photo. We then called management. The manager took the piece. She basically told us it must have come inside the meat patty because they order those and it is not something made on the premises. While my husband was not injured at the time we wanted in documented in case there had been smaller pieces that he might have swallowed or whatever. They had no procedure in place on how to handle this. Our biggest concern is how many more patties may contain this. The facility where these were made need to be inspected?? Recall?? So far I have been ok but someone else could be seriously injured.

InvestigationHistory
Received complaint regarding a piece of metal found in a hamburger by a customer. Upon investigation, I found that this facility uses hamburger patties that come frozen and wrapped by their manufacturer. No other pieces of metal were found in area where meat is stored, prepped or cooked.
