Child (barefoot) wandering in and out of kitchen; mother plays with child, never washes hands, picks up child than picks up donuts with bare hands. Place looks dirty, mop was dirty and stored outside and then just brought in and started mopping with dirty mop.

I called the owner of the facility and discussed the child being in the food service and prep areas. He stated he will not allow the child to go behind the counter or in the kitchen area. I explained that if we continue to receive complaints or we observe the child in the kitchen area, other actions will be taken. I intend to follow up with a physical visit in the following weeks.
