Customer stated that she and her daughter went to Pizza Inn to eat and observed a metal object on pizza.

Inspector went to facility and discussed nature of complaint with head manager. Inspector checked each individual pan but did not observe anything in Pizza dough, however inspector did observed sauce and smallblack specks on pizza coverings. Inspector checked dough in additonal containers and observed small black specks in dough. Pizza dough was discarded and pizza coverings were removed and washed. Inspector advised facility manager to designate an employee to monitor coverings and pans to ensure safety and cleanliness. Manager stated that metal part has been submitted to Pizza Inn Manufacturer to determine if part came from facility. Inspector spoke to manager on 9/23/2010 and he stated that they haven't hear anything as of yet. Inspector went to facility on 10/04/2010 and Manager stated that he forgot to call me, however, it was proven that the metal part did not come from any of Pizza in equipment or utensils.
