ALLEGED FOOD POISONING AFTER DINING AT PENN'S AT 2 PM ON WED., 2/10/10. AMBULANCE, PROJECTILE VOMITING, ACUTE DIRHEA, ATE FISH, SLAW, TARTAR SAUCE. CLAIMED TARTAR AND SLAW WERE ON SERVICE COUNTER

INSPECTOR DID THOROUGH RISK-BASED INSPECTION COVERING ALL ASPECTS OF THE FACILITY FROM THE RECEIVING AREA TO THE SERVICE AREA. ALL FOOD WAS AT CORRECT TEMPS, BOTH HOT AND COLD HOLDING, THE SLAW AND TARTAR SAUCE WERE TIGHTLY COVERED AND STORED IN TUBS OF ICE TO KEEP TEMPERATURES AT 41 DEGREES AND BELOW, CHEMICAL SANITIZING BUCKETS WERE ON HAND AND AT 50 TO 100 PPM CHLORINE, ICE IN ICE MACHINE IS CLEAN AND SCOOPS ARE PROPERLY STORED. FOOD IN WALK IN COOLER IS COVERED, DATED AND LABELED AND BELOW 41 DEGREES. INSPECTOR FOUND NO CRITICAL VIOLATIONS, A CLEAN FACILITY, AND NO OTHER CUSTOMERS CALLED EITHER PENN'S OR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT REPORTING ANY ILLNESS FOR THIS OR ANY OTHER FACILITY THIS WEEK OR LAST WEEK.
