My husband and I purchased sandwiches from Subway#44221-0 10006 Canal Road Gulfport,MS 39505 on 3/7/2024 after 6pm. He had a grilled chicken one and I vegetable one. The next morning 3/8, he began to feel bad and by the evening time he was feeling worse, with no appetite and no energy. The next morning 3/9, he started with severe diahrea , nausea and has been unable to eat anything other than a few bites of fruit and mainly stay in bed when not in the bathroom. On 3/11, he went to the walk in medical clinic and had to be given an I V because of dehydration from the diahrea. He was cultured for stomach bug and food poisoning on 3/12 and was found positive for food poisoning from undercooked, ill prepared chicken and is now on antibiotics. That chicken was the last thing he ate and the only chicken he had consumed. My husband who is always otherwise healthy, energetic and a good eater has spent hours on a toilet, lost several pounds and can't stay up for more than a few minutes because of someones incompetency and disregard for attention of food preparation to prevent illness. There is no telling how many more people have been affected by this place. I understand he could have been the only one out of 100 that came through that restaurant and was effected. But even one is too many. Most definitely something needs to be done before this happens to another person. Monica P Blackwell
