PHONED THE FACILITY AND SPOKE WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER, JASON FORBES ABOUT THE COMPLAINT. NOT ENOUGH DETAIL TO REALLY MAKE HEADS OR TAIL OUT OF WHAT REALLY OCCURRED AND NO PHONE NUMBER TO GET MORE INFORMATION. ASKED THE MANAGER ABOUT THE SMOKING SECTION AND HE STATED IT IS SOMEWHAT PARTITIONED OFF WITH PLEXY GLASS. ADVISED TO ENSURE SMOKERS ARE IN THE SMOKING AREA(NOT SURE OF THE NATURE OF THIS COMPLAINT). GENERAL MANAGER STATED THAT BREAD COMES OUT ON A WOOD BREAD BOARD WITH A KNIFE AND THE APPETIZER IS ON A 6 INCH PLATE ALONG WITH A SMALLER PLATE FOR EACH CUSTOMER. HE STATES THAT IF A PLATE IS NOT AVAILABLE THE APPETIZER WOULD NOT BE SERVED. AS FOR THE DESSERT BEING SERVED IN A DIRTY SALAD BOWL HE COULD NOT SAY IF THE DISH IT WAS SERVED ON WAS DIRTY OR NOT, BUT IF THIS DOES OCCUR, THE COOKS KNOW NOT TO SERVE ANY FOOD ON A DIRTY DISH. ADVISED HIM TO ENSURE ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES THAT DEAL WITH FOOD OR DISHWARE, DO A VISUAL CHECK OF THE FOOD/DISHWARE TO BE SURE IT IS SAFE AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOOD CODE AND HEALTH REGULATIONS. WILL FOLLOW-UP AT THE SCHEDULED INSPECTION DUE NOVEMBER.
